18 months in a "country club" prison and a $1.5 million fine? He got off easy. He cheated IRS out of $2.5 million, not to mention the non-payment of FICA, Medicare, Workman's Comp, etc. And he cheated the hell out of the workers - $8/hr and no overtime premium. He's lucky I was not his judge.

You can dink around with the FBI, DEA, FDA, etc. But you canNOT mess with the IRS.
yup, the only agency that can take your primary residence and throw you out on the streets. Especially if you screw around with sales tax payments...in NY 10% penalty per day late.
