Hi guys,

I'm dipping my toe into the world of meat curing and as such, I'm currently researching how to construct my dry curing chamber. Rather than hard wire a new thermostat, I was looking at installing a small tubular heater ( https://www.wearetubularheaters.co.uk/shop/cream-tubular-heater-with-plug/ ), and hooking this up to an Inkbird 308 temperature controller. I'll also place a humidifier and hook this up to the Inkbird IHC-200. Can anyone vouch for the use of a separate heater such as a the tubular/similar set up and the performance of the overall chamber? I would like to ideally install a new thermostat but as I am not an electrician, I'm not confident in carry this out.

Many thanks for your response. I'm on the right track then. The link to your instructions is great, I think that should guide me through the build. Thanks again.
