Trying something different today, Stuffed a fatty with crab meat, and mozzarello cheese, and sprinkled with Old Bay. Also have 3 racks of bb ribs going on, I'll post some more q later.
I think you'll like the Old Bay Gram... I use it alot. It's got some heat and also when mixed with pork it's reminiscent of a breakfast sausage flavor.
old bay is not just for seafood.. i use it in all my rubs and quite a bit in all my foods also tabasco without it stuff seems to be bland. the fatties and ribs are a great combo 'specially with crab
The fatty turned out great, and so did the ribs. The Old Bay was a good mix, I rubbed a rack of ribs with it and they turned out great. I was raised on the stuff, plus its made about 40min down the road from me.
Dude, you are killin me, my new years resolutions just took a serious hit! That crab stuffed fatty is a great idea. I am gonna try that this weekend. Them ribs look pretty darned good too. Nice job. I had to work today, good thing I got my smoke fix yesterday!
I took country deer sausage - 2lbs, Backfin crabmeat, diced onions, old bay (made and packaged just down the road from us), shredded taco cheese... and made a masterpiece! Thanks Gramason!!
