I’ve got a LEM MaxVac Pro 1380 chamber sealer (this one: https://lemproducts.com/products/maxvac-pro-chamber-vacuum-sealer-1.html) that I really like, but lately it’s been malfunctioning.
At the end of the sealing cycle, it no longer releases the vacuum or opens automatically. The food stays trapped until it eventually opens on its own — sometimes after I press Stop several times, or just after waiting a while. Everything else (vacuum, seal, cool) works fine; it just won’t vent at the end.
I called LEM, and they said I could buy a new motherboard — but that feels like overkill if it’s just a valve or sensor issue.
Has anyone run into this before? Could it be a clogged vent, bad solenoid, or sticky lid gasket? Any advice or fixes appreciated!
