after reading the comments about the chip pan flare up and seeing pictures of strips of meta welded to the bottom i made this mod its all aluminum

This weekend  i have already seasoned the smoker with the pan work real great If I had a blanket i could have sent smoke signals. Work real good no flair up either

Also burned in at 415 degrees the unit therm is off 90 degrees,I bought the Et-732 and read correct.

Looks like you did a nice job on it. When I built my smoker I grabbed my Grandpa's cast iron frying pan from his old smoker and have never tried aluminum. You're going to like that Maverick 732.
