Masterbuilt Pro Dual Fuel Smoker - Issue

I received this product for fathers day. After spending 45mins putting together, I realized the holes for the grill grates do not line up. There are 8 on 3 sides and 7 on one side. The grates are crooked and and it looks terrible. Am I missing something or am I just a victim of bad luck and need to return this product for another one. Thanks

I think you're a victim of bad luck. If the side with only 7 holes doesn't line up with the others at all, just drilling an 8th hole won't work. I would take it back and get another one.
