Masterbuilt mws 330s Pellet Smoker

Hello all, and it's a pleasure to be here. My new smoker has me confused. I can set the time and temp, no problem. When I set the smoke time, the heat turns off and the temp starts to drop. I'm following the instructions to a tee. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

welcome, after I set my time and temp I have to hit another button to make it stick on my MES, so after hitting time if its last and setting it hit temp again and watch it for a little bit, I have a light button on mine that I hit,

The order I press buttons is (my unit is an older model than yours but essentially works the same)

Set temp
Minus key until desired temp
Set temp
Set time
Minus key (I always just set mine to 24 hours)
Set time (this will move the timer from the hours side to the minute side)
Set time

At this point my "heating" light will come on.


Edit: that 2nd "set temp" listing may not be right. If you try my original suggestion and it's not right, omit that 2nd "set temp"

looking at your controller it doesn't look new, is this a older used unit new to you?
