Masterbuilt heating element?

Saw this ad on  craigslist.  Is that an older gen MES 40?

How difficult is it to replace the element?

Yes its older gen..

Buy it..not hard to replace element..

That one is at least 2 1/2 years old.

New ones have the digital control in front.

The ones before that (like mine) have a rounded digital control box.

The ones before that had a square cornered control box (like this one).

I don't know about changing the element, but I would believe Craig (fpnmf).
