Masterbuilt 2 door gasser mods

Just got this one for christmas and I finally believe I have it set the way I want it! Below is the list of things I have done.

Cast Iron pie pan for chuck holder
Needle valve mod
Gasket seal mod
Side shelf mod ( shelf is technecally for a MES 40)
replaced the OME thermo

What about the gasket, was that from amazon as well? how does it smoke with all of the mods? I just got one and looking at the same upgrades.

That I did! Gasket ran $8, the hard part was putting together the needle valve assembly with the stock hose.

With all of these mods it has made smoking easier, temp control was the main goal and that has been easy to find and maintain. I am in NC so in the winter months i can maintain close to around 140 without any issues and then i can still get it all the way up to 350 if i need to!

I have a older Masterbuilt Gashouse smoker (in my avatar). Did a gasket around the door and helped a lot with smoke loss around door and temp management.
