has anyone used this wood?   whats the smoke and flavor like?

If it is red maple or sugar maple, it smells very good. It sweetens meat when cooking or smoking over it. It is a very good wood for pork or beef. We cook steaks over the fire pit at the cabin and it is a treat to cook it with maple.

thank you,  i think ill try that

If you have big leaf maple, I have used it for chicken and salmon... It is mild....    Dave
