Maple flavored bacon w/high mountain sausage

Morning, was thinking of incorporating the high mountain maple sausage mix into a bacon cure has anyone tried this if so I was thinking of just adding the proper cure ratio. Any thoughts?

I would spend the $8.99 for the Buckboard bacon mix .

It has brown sugar and maple sugar in it.
Some people say it's a bit salty for their taste. I will be trying some soon.
