I removed that damper from my unit and moved/installed it on the mailbox door. That way you can control it from the inlet which is ideally what you want to do.
Yes. Went from no flow to too much. At least close now. Temp problems also fixed. Ready to cook now!
Some of what you see might be condensation burning off . Now you can get it dialed in . I saw the other thread on temps ,,, good deal .
Did my first MB smoke the other day. I found that for best smoke 2x4 lifted one end great, smoked up a storm.
