Good for you, more parents should pull their kids away from all the negative waste of time things they've been drawn to by media and peer pressure. When my wife and I ran our small side catering business our girls did what they could do according to their age that was safe. Soon it was knife skills and became our little sous chefs. Fast forward to college when they were in shock that most of their fellow dorm roommates couldn't even use a microwave let alone a stove. Praise to you for teaching life skills, he'll never go hungry.
