Looking for Information of Starting a New BBQ Competition

So, one of the competitions I normally do in the summer got cancelled (long story I don't know the whole thing) and a bunch of teams that had already committed to it (and built their summer plans around) have decided to try to throw something together and I (probably stupidly) offered up to host and get it together.  I (and those competing) know that this year is going to be a backyard deal but I am hoping and looking to make this a regular stop on the Kosher BBQ Tour.  With that in mind, anyone have a website, or book, that helps you create and run a BBQ Competition?
