Speaking of. I have a Primeweld plasma cutter and the adjustment valve for air pressure broke. I emailed them to ask about buying a replacement knob. Customer service called me back and I explained what happened and ask about buying a knob. Customer service said we’ll warranty that and then asked if the address they had on file was current. They sent the whole valve assembly. It had a 3 year warranty and I bought it July of 2021. I will likely be buying another machine from them.
See like that! Rec Teq was the same, call and asked about my probes, they asked for address and sent 2 new ones. I had un underwater strobe that flooded on a dive trip, call the manufacturer when we got home - they said "send it in and we will let you know", week later I got an email say it was my fault and a replacement was in the mail - FREE.

Those are examples of how it should work if a company wants to keep customers!

You might contact the Consumer Products Safety Commission (cpsc.gov,) if Trump hasn't axed it yet, and relate your experience. It would appear to be a significant safety concern.

Ordered myself a birthday present

NICE! I have the older version of this same one. LOVE it. Used it last night to warm up some frozen smoked BB's...first time I did that. Worked good! Had to due to oven failure, but it was easy. Beef is my fav SV. I got the temp dialed in so my wife and daughter dont this its too rare, and I like it too.

Enjoy the ride!

I have had the same one (Think it's the ISV-200W) from the look of it for a few years now. The only issue I have had is that the plastic around the lug where the tube attaches got brittle and broke off. Rigged it up with a hose clamp and still using it.

You can see where part of the lug broke away in the first photo. The lug should be the same all the way around.

I little engineering got it going again though

This outfit has done a lot of cooks, and for what I paid for it, it has more than earned its keep, and as said, I am still using it, currently.

From the other day.

So why that one? I've been wanting to get one, but just can't seem to narrow it down...
Flip a coin or pick a card, Charles. Decided it was time to fish and not just cut bait.
I revisited this thread to find the review that Kurt dr k dr k posted from Food & Wine
I really like Breville products, but when I read the review and saw it was 100% app controlled that turned into a big no and wonder why it was top rated.
I clicked on the Inkbird link for the ISV-100W and saw it was almost half off original pricing for Black Friday.
Once I got on Amazon, I looked for the ISV-300W that Gordon culpepersmoke culpepersmoke purchased, but not available at this time.
I saw a slightly newer model than the ISV-100W was also on sale for a really good price.
Decided to give it a go. It didn't list the model, but I'll trust David sandyut sandyut and Doug DougE DougE that it is the ISV-200W.
Glad I waited (actually forgot about my plan to wait until going south) and got the Black Friday price.
Go for it Charles.

I have 2 of those. Used it last night to heat up a smoked pork loin I made a few months ago. Came out great.

The ISV-100 1,000 watt has been flawless. I got mine in 2019 when it first came out. now the vent free 200 round and 300 are newer. I put it in a 32oz glass mug 50/50 vinegar and water occasionally to descale at 140/15min. You just reminded me to take out the seasoned vac sealed chucky for poor man's prime rib. The inexpensive 20 pint sterilite gasket lid tub for under $10 at Menards is a great SV water vessel Winterrider Winterrider mentioned.
