This is my favorite prep for drumsticks. Not only do they look nice, they cook very evenly and there are no tendons or the little fibula bone to deal with. I'm always surprised at the amount of trim, but I finally got an actual weight and a visual. I'm guessing the prep takes 5 minutes each, and although I pull the tendons, if you cut them with scissors they do shrink back toward the big knuckle.
