I want to build a UDS and have found a possible drum that I can buy. The description says it is has a food grade lining in it.I have searched the forums and found some information on this but nothing that satisifies my question. I assume that I'll need to get rid of that but does this require more work than simply burning it out? I get paraniod about having toxins in the drum. I have read that some linings are a pain to clean out and not worth the trouble and would hate to buy this one and always feel like it hasn't been cleaned out good enough. So the question is, is having a food grade lining in a drum a pain to clean out and if it only requires a burn out, will that completely rid me of that lining? how can i tell if it is gone? Thanks for the help!
