Baratza Encore. After about 7 years I replaced the original burrs with a set from them for better espresso grind. I grind 18 grams of Aldi's Peru organic or Costco organic dark roast or even Eight O'clock original on a lower setting of 12, works for me.

I have been using the Baratza Virtuoso for almost 10 years now with no problem. I think there are better options out there these days if I was to get a new grinder for coffee other then Espresso I would probably get the Fellow Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2.

I am usually a single cup brewer not sure how either would do for larger brew amounts.

I have the OXO grinder and have been using it for about a year now. It's considerably quieter than the old Kenmore I used to have. Granted, it's grinding beans so it's still pretty loud. You can adjust the machine to give you a very fine grind, but we only do drip brew so medium grind is about all we do.

One thing I did find was that after you clean it, you have to make sure that the hopper goes back on the base just right or it won't turn on. I thought I was broken at first, but managed to get it working again after fiddling with it for some time.
