Don't worry too much about it, I've heard finger grow back like a lizard's tail.  I've not had to test that theory myself but I'm pretty sure I read it on the internet so it must be true.

Wait until that finger has an IT of 160* and sauce it for about 30 minutes. Should be good with baked beans and slaw. Send some pics. Good luck, Joe
