LEM Set Screw for 5lb Stuffer

Lost my set screw for my stuffer handle.

Went to LEM website to find out what size I need to buy.

It is an M6 x 6.

They wanted $3.99 for one!

I never intended to buy from them, knowing in advance I could get what I needed at the hardware store, but the price from LEM is ridiculous!

Have to go to the hardware store today anyway, so I'll grab a couple there....

Any Metric bolts are ridiculously priced.

Amazon may likely be your best bet on anything metric. I always go to Home Depot and use the screw matching setup they have on the fastener aisle. It identifies metric screws. Then I have to buy online at amazon because Home Depot (here) carries no metric bolts or nuts.

You are paying for someone to order a box of setscrews, package them up individually, store them in a warehouse, log them into an inventory management system, periodically take inventory, answer the phone, figure out what you need, go to the warehouse, find the package with the M6x6 setscrew, place it in a package and mail it to you, plus postage. The setscrew itself is free.

If the setscrew is not available locally, other bolts such as a hex head will work, also...

Set screw on my handle has taken a crap as well (stripped out). Glad you posted this to remind me I need to fix it...
