So here we go
Basically a caulk gun
handles are metal
body is plastic
tube is aluminum
push rod metal
nozzles are stainless steel

used my hand turned rolling pin to pack the air out while loading the tube

So I ran out of meat and had to reload the gun ... super simple
unscrew the nut at the casing end to let air in
draw back plunger
tighten nut at casing end
remove plunger nut and fill

I am very happy with this gun. I did not push a real tight sausage though the gun. Even packing the sausage with the rolling pin air was still there. My refrigerator smells like I could eat it.

Al,
I don't have home made pepperoni for my pizzas tomorrow but I do have Italian sausage and charizo and that is a start!!!!

Chili! - Thinking of you when making the Charizo, but I used chipotle chili powder for the heat!

Nice Zip.I was wondering how you'd like the gun.I've been thinking about one for a while, and same as you, small batch tests to get the stuff where I want it.
