So thanks to a member here, I got a chicken leg smoker doodad rack. Took legs right out of the package, seasoned with HGH poultry rub and onto the smoker. Thought chicken legs won't take that long so I started at 225. Well, hours later they weren't even up to 160 (180 target temp). So I bumped it up to 300, got them to 175 spread some basic bbq sauce on them, knocked it up to 450 for about 15 mins and we were good to go.

Works well. Going to try sausages with it next time.

Not a huge leg fan, but I really dig the hanger doodad thing.

Tasty legs! I have one of those myself. As said, just foil the bottom and that speeds cleanup.

Wow, where did you get said "leg doodad"? I've never seen one of those trays/racks before.
