dang that was a sweet deal... this is identical to a vac u pack. is the original foodsaver product. not even close to the f/s of today. i already have a VuPak so dont need another. hope you all are cking these listing by Hounds51. they are the real deal and a great machine.

Thanks guys, I will keep listing them as I find them on E-Bay. I have 3 of them and wouldn't give them up for anything. I rebult all of them. If anyone has one that needs service maybe I can help you out. I don't have any spare parts, and don't work for the company, but I have some working knowledge of these machines and they are built like tanks. This is the only no frill machine that will pump water without damage.

Can you get thicker bags? Seems like I occasionally have problems with the bones on ribs poking through.

If you watch the vacupack infomercial he instructs you that on any piercing surface to put a barrier like styrofoam packaging or paper towel over Sharp or pretruding surfaces. I use the bag material from this guy, and never had any problems.
