Well this is the last of my elk meat. Need to contact my hunting buddy to see when the next shipment is. HA

I'm going with a combo of Owens BBQ stick mixes for the jerky marinade.


Sliced and ready for a 5 min cure spin.



Now the marinade spin for 30 mins.


Drained and have 6 racks in the dehydrator at 145* for 2 hours then to 155* until the jerky bends.

 
That looks great.

I need to try vac tumbling cured stuff.   Any time guidelines???
 
Looks tasty! Love using my vac tumbler for jerky!

Adam I mix everything in the canister, cure marinade, then add the meat. I tumble for 15 minutes then put the canister in the fridge over night.
