Thawed out our last tri tip last night and threw it on the kettle. My wife made the chimichurri sauce which was really good and I loaded the TT up with SPOG and a little hardcore carnivore. I always sear them first then move it over to the cold side, no reason really. Cooked it till it hit 130* and let it rest for about 15-20 min. The chimichurri sauce really sets it off. I don’t even remember where I tried back when I did but I’m glad I did. Thanks for looking

Nice work on that . I cooked and eaten exactly one . Without a doubt some of the best beef I've ever had . Wish I could find it here , and at a good price when I do .
Yours looks fantastic .

Excellent lookin' Tri-Tip. The Chimi sounds great, need to try it.

TT looks great unfortunately they've gone into hibernation around here again.

Point for sure
Chris

TT is a great cut of meat and yours looks really good. Those shots of it in the cutting board almost take your breath away. Very nice job!!

I love them. But I can only find them one spot here. The price I don’t want to talk about haha

I hear that only one place here when they do have them. And like I told chopsaw. It’s almost unrealistic to buy them. This one was $10.99/lb. It’s crazy I’m pretty sure I was getting them for like $5/lb in hawaii.

That looks delicious! TT with chimichurri is a favorite around here.
