OK I was not going to post anymore this week but these turned out so good and tender. I grated about 5 chunks frozen pineapple into marinade. I buy them when on sale, cut up and freeze. Best tenderizer there is.

Any soy or ginger ?
I used this one.

Recipes usually use Asian pears but I use pineapple since I all ways have some froze in freezer. You have to watch what you use fresh pineapple on and how long you marinade can make the meat real mushy. It works real good for this application. They where falling apart just taking them off the grill. If you have not made Korean ribs need to try. Grill over hot coals for about 5 minutes one side than 3 the other.

I just finished off left overs. These where the best to date. I had got the ribs from Sam's. The addiction of the pineapple to marinade is what really set it off I think. Going to start adding that to others. I always happy with recipes from Chef John on all recipes. Never steers me wrong that I can remember.

What do you, to them to make these Korean Ribs? They look the same way normal flanken ribs.

It is a Korean marinade that is used on Flanken Ribs. It is also called Galbi or Kalbi . Others here probably have better explanation. If you have not tried highly recommend. Incredible tasting marinade.
