These are one of my favorite things to grill and eat. Sam's had a sale on them and picked up a package. Made up my marinade and let them sit about 5 hours. Got the grill very hot and just took about 3 one side and 2 on the other. This Spicy Cilantro Lime Coleslaw is so good. Also had some left over butternut squash. This was a tasty meal! The beef was very tender.

¼ cup rice vinegar
2 Tbsp brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, peeled
5 slices fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon hot chile paste
1 teaspoon sesame oil

I get those flanken cut ribs at Sams also, cept I use them for carne asada tacos, they're delicious. And your's look delicious also.

They also grill up fast, cuz they're so thin. About 4 minutes on the Kettle.

Nice short ribs….that’s what they name them here we do them a LOT and a very similar marinade (we add a bit of coke in that above).

Nice sear and that slaw sounds tasty!

So that's where I got that. Man that stuff good.
Have ya tried the others?
I'm making the Apple Cranberry Sweet Slaw for our guests tomorrow.

Those are great Brian , and the slaw is always a hit here.
Great looking cook on those

We also call them short ribs, one of my favorite things to have ,
but the price is more than prime rib at $16.00 per pound, i'm just a carpenter. I will wait for a sale. :emoji_sunglasses: :emoji_sunglasses: 🤠

I've always known them here as just flanken cut, though they are associated with Korean barbecue. And I get mine at Sams, but they're also always available at the Asian market, although they slice them thinner than Sams. I'd actually like them a bit thicker than what Sams sells.

I am watching out for flanken ribs locally, never had them. They look wonderful. And the slaw recipe; Thank you! I will put it right alongside the ribs.

Thanks for the post.

I’ve not heard of those before but they look pretty good. Nice work
