keeping the smoke low

well it happened, my landlord who lives above me complained about my smoker, she says her apartment smells like a smoke house and her clothes smell like it. how do i keep the smoke thin and from rising so high?

Not sure if you can keep the smoker from going "up" neccassarily, but how about mounting a fan blowing away from the building just above where your smoker exits your smoker?

Totally wrong approach, have you taken the landlord any smoked meat? Invited her to join you? I would try this first, it'll normally win 'em over before the feathers get all ruffled.

Tell her you want a rent reduction for fumigating and perfuming her apt and clothes.
