Just purchased an MES Gen 2.5 30 inch. Have picked up a lot of tips here prior to purchasing. (Thank you!) The initial seasoning is just about done. Went perfect with wood chips. Excited to get started!

I live in southern Wisconsin, have spent most of my entire adult life BBQing on Weber kettle,  everything from turkeys to prime rib, and using wood chips for chicken, pork, ribs, etc. Thought it was time to add another weapon to the outdoor cooking arsenal

I know there is a ton of great advise here, and I apologize if I ask any redundant questions.

First question: Since winter has just descended on us here, what is the lowest outside temperature that I need to be limited by using this smoker and still achieve good results?

Second question: What to use to clean the glass?

Thank you

Welcome to the forum!  Glad you joined us.  I would think that the MES is insulated and you can use it any temp.  I good thermometer for monitoring meat and smoker temps would be beneficial.
