Just got a Brickman smokengrill

Hey y'all, I just picked up a used smoke n grill for ten bucks. I saved the poor thing from a Veggie-a-saurus-rex (vegetarian).

So here it is. Nothing fancy, and needs some cleaning up.
Has anybody attempted to convert into a barrel type smokers, like a uds?
