Hi guys, im kinda new to the site. I hade a offset smoker that didnt work that well so i bought a entry level vertical smoker. Im just looking for anyone who has any advice on how to use it. Or what should be the first thing i should try to smoke? How do i add more charcoal to it after the first batch burns off?

Chicken or Pork Butts are probably the easiest to start with. I would get one of the charcoal chimney starters. You can get the coals started quickly using it and then add them to the smoker when needed.
