Just a small fire...

I smoked some stuff with my modified Masterbuilt, I removed the shields and all and just put wood on the element. I opened her up and removed the food and walked inside, leaving the door open. Idiot! The hickory got a big breath of oxygen and went up in flames, boiling the water pan and staining my porch.

Keep the door closed to choke the wood and keep it from igniting. I learned the bad way.

But at least ya got the food out first!!

The stained porch may be a pain, but at least you and the food are safe!
