My mother-in-law surprised me this week with a WSM 22 after hearing me talk about them. It got here yesterday and I promptly assembled it and ran a couple chimneys through it.

Tonight I am in phase 2 of Henry Soo seasoning with some ham hocks.

I think it looks pretty good next to my 22 inch One Touch.

About 2.5 hours in and i uave barely had to touch the vents to keep it at 225. Assuming it is always this good, it's easier to run than any gas smoker I've ever used.

Mother-in-law did have an alterior motive though, she wants me to smoke 4 butts and 2 hams for a gathering Sunday. This oughta be a good weekend.

I wish someone would buy me a 22.5 WSM! Congrats you will love it!! I'm looking to upgrade at some point from a 18.5 to use my rotisserie setup on it. Name sure to watch for the charcoal sales and stock up.

Luckily I am already pretty stocked since i like to grill a lot. Over the 4th weekend Wal Mart had 2 packs of 15 lb Kingsford for $8. Definitely going to have to keep more on hand than i used to though.

Newish, kinda small too. Those 2 cookers take up about a quarter of it, it's only 8 x 10.

Thank you though.
