We went to Ames last night for the RAGBRAI stop and Styx concert.

Saw a vendor selling ice cream ..... here is his makers. This is the way to crank an ice cream maker.

now that is a humdinger of an ice cream maker! Could of used that when I was a kid and Mom made ME sit and crank the handle.

Those old hit and miss engines are pretty cool. They are quite the attraction for ice cream making at fairs and carnivals in NC.
