I did some korean and some regular buffalo and I was surprised because just tasting the two sauces with my finger i thought the Korean one was gonna be not so good, but it was the better of the two!! It was good but the buffalo was bad!! The smoke flavor doesn't go good with buffalo wings in my opinion, just grilled or deep fried is the only way to have buffalo wings, but thanks Jim your sauce will be used again for sure i have a good amount left.

I agree, the korean style sauce goes great with smoked chicken,

I only got 8 of the wings I did yesterday, my wife took the rest and hid them for her lunch today.

I made up a batch of those this weekend myself. They were flat out AWESOME. I didn't take any pics because I was pressure washing the house while they were smokng and I can only do two things at a time. (And that's pushing it.) I had some teen-agers over at the house, so I put the wings on the table while I was getting the burgers started. When I got back inside, there were three wings left in the bowl (which I promptly ate). This is definitely a keeper!!!

I've made loads of buffalo wings. Baked in the oven, grilled over fire, and the best of course is deep fried. But this is something I just MUST try!

What are you putting on the wings before the smoke? Looks like just a little something, then finished on the grill and finally tossed in the sauce? With sugar and ketchup they would certainly burn otherwise.

thanks!

A basic bbq rub is what your seeing on them, but you don't have to use anything and they will be good, yes they were smoked then crisped up on grill, ive learned from grilling alot of wings that in my opinion just grilling plain wings with no spices turns out best for buffalo wings, let the sauce do the flavoring. This is the first time I smoked the wings and like i said before
i didnt like the flavor of the buffalo wings like that!! nasty really but the Korean sauce compliments the smoked wings perfectly!!! and its a good change of flavor, im sure even just grilled or deep fried they would be good in it.
