Jeffs rub recipes ?

Happy Friday eve, I have been smoking for about six years now with several different rigs. A jury rigged gas grill, a chargriller with smoke box, a UDS. About two years ago I got a screaming deal on a Jr. Elite traeger, last weekend the boss lady okayed the acquisition of the Texas elite. Needless to say the kids are thrilled.
Anyways the question I have is this, can and should jeffs original and Texas rubs be mixed together ? Has anybody tried this ?

I haven't tried it. I think that it would be to spicy.

I have not used the Texas rub yet, I have to many tender mouthes around the house. But thanks for the input.
