Yeah Chris, a tad disappointing, but all wasn't lost, it made a good chile. That's a bummer about the brisket John. One question - before your wrapped and tucked it away for a rest did you let it cool down to 170*? I have to admit I like the dog food hash. I make it at least once a month. Hormel is my favorite brand.
Point for sure.
Chris
It was filling, Beef-n-Taters seldom fails to stick to the ribs.Chile the meal looks very filling.
Thanks.
Richie
You're telling me, that Flat looked/felt freaking awesome.Man, you started out with one of the best most uniform in size & thickness brisket flats I have ever seen.
I thought this was going to be something special!!
But in the end yo pulled it out & finished with another excellent looking meal!
Good work Buddy!
Al
Thank you, very kind.I'm with Al. That was one of, if not the most, amazing looking precooked briskets. I've only had one brisket fall into that category and it's the brisket cook I stressed the most over :D
But everything looks like it came out great in the end. Well done.
