My new toy arrived today. Woodwind SG. Built it and ran it for 30 minutes as directed to burn off oils. Was really surprised at the volume of smoke at the lower temps too.

Can’t wait to cook on it!!! Was expecting arrival Thursday so I had nothing here to throw on. Guess I’ll grabs some steaks tomorrow.

That said, I’m not thrilled with the front shelf accessory. Anyone with a woodwind have a better solution?

Ah, that brand new smoker smell just off the showroom floor. Nothing like it. Seriously, it should serve you well. Looking forward to pix of you first smoke.
