Still trying to get this smoking stuff down. I realize pics are hard to tell from, but how's this look?

looks good to me, kinda gotta white tint to it, but that's better than the alternative, let me see if I can find ya something

Looks good to me. Each person likes a diffferent level of smoke. As you smoke more and more you will generate info on what makes it right for you. Good luck.

Looks good MM, you don't want billowy clouds of white smoke. Ya want it thin and barely noticable. What kind of wood are you using for the smoke? Not sure what type of verticle smoker you're using-looks like a GOSM. I keep my top vent wide open and use the side vents to control the air flow; if you have the newer units you may not have the side vents at all.

White smoke can sometimes be steaming from wood or something else that is wet. Grey/black is something burning, you want to acheive the thin blue, and just a little will do ya. You don't need a lot of smoke to get the job done. Good luck my friend.

Looks good to me. Each peron is different about how much smoke they like, just play around with it and find what works best for you

Don't see a drink nearby, but other than that, it looks about right!

It is a gas GOSM without the side vent, using Hickory smoking some kingfish caught yesterday.

That be lookin perty good right there. Now ifin ya need a bit more draw on the box ya can add the stack. Easy ta do an keeps the elements an critters outa yer smoker!
