It had to be done but in the interest of keeping things civil, don't say who you think is going to win or even discus the actual game. The important thing is what are you making for the up coming tail gate of the year (as long as you live in Iowa that is)?

I can't make it to the game this year so I am having some people over to watch it on the old 110", as long as it is on mediacom

. Since the weather turned cool this week I am thinking of chili with some brisket. I might do up a breakfast fatty or 2 as well.

So lets hear what you are making for tailgating. If you don't have an interest in this inner-state rivalry you can still post up some ideas.

Hey Blake. After seein wutangs chili, I just might make up a batch of mine. Got some butts and ribs in the freezer so might do some of those too. That's if I don't go on the Save the Ta Tazs ride. Haven't decided yet.

Ya wu-tang just killed normal easy chili for me. I have grilled meat for chili before but smoked meat + smoked chili is a whole new level. I do have 4 of those butts from the recent Hy-Vee sale but brisket chili just sounds too good not to try. The problem is I will have to make the brisket in the middle of the week. I suppose I will have to do 4-5 hours of smoke and then just put it in the oven over night to finish it.

I have yet to do abt's so I might have to give them a shot. I love spicy food and jalapeño poppers.

One world of advice on the ABT's buy lots they go fast and they really aren't that hot if deseeded and deviened.

Sure come on over Eric. It's a fund raiser for breast cancer awarness. They've got a catchy name for it. Last year they had 205 riders.

Not sure whats going on the smoker that day but I do know that beer will be included.
