Hey,everyone I'm going by JAYMAR on here. I live in North Texas. I have been a lover of genuine smoke meats and other foods all my life ,( I am 38 ). I have been using a smoker of one of my friends for the last 10 years , it works great . For the last year I have been gathering supplies to build my own ,and now am getting close to finish time .
Now for my first entry slash question. I've read a few post about seasoning New smokers . There was a slew of great options , but the one thing I never found was starting from raw metal with little rust and weld residew.
        
I've put a lot of time and effort and design, with the normal blood sweet and tears . I don't want to ruin it with a bad first season. What are some of your suggestions. Thank you for letting me In This forum , and thank in advance for your help.
