It's 80° at the end of September in PA... so we're definitely firing up the WSM and the fire pit!

Couple pics of a smallish pork butt I'll cook overnight. About 6.5#.


No fancy rub on this one. Using one of my favorite store bought brands. As my good friend describes it, "there's some fat guy on the label." I like this stuff on everything!


About a 1/3 of a chimney lit.. a few sticks of cherry buried in KBB.


Let that burn in for about an hour while I enjoy some Pizza Boy Brewing "Fabric of Time" IPA...


Gonna be a good night! And hopefully a delicious lunch tomorrow when this butt is done!

Sunny and in the mid 80's here in VT. Wife wants ribs I want ham. So I guess the WSM gets it's call to duty on Saturday. Enjoy your pork butt and IPA. I'll be drinking a PBR or two.

Gonna be good.  

Its to hot for this time of year.
 
Most corn still standing here.  Alot got planted late.   We have had alot of rain so still cutting hay
