So, with the recent membrane debate I decided to test it for myself. I personally have always been one to remove the membrane from my ribs before cooking. Not because of any particular preference, rather just because I was told to. After the recent thread about this, I bought some ribs and cooked them up yesterday, with the membrance on...Oh No! I decided they would not go on the floor. In fact, I think they were possibly the most juicy ribs I have cooked myself. Very good result, despite the fact that they got just slightly over cooked. Didn't even flash them to cook off membrane. Only problem with yesterdays cook was the Amazn jumped from one line to the next so two rows burning at once. At any rate, enjoyed a very good dinner. Here are the shots. Have a great week!
Mustard, rub and into fridge for an overnight sleep.
Into the smoker....
Checking temps and finding the tray smoking a little excessively...ended up no problem.
About 5 hours later, glazed slightly with some Sweet Baby Ray
And a very tasty dinner. I think I will now be a membrane fan!!!
