run some bread through the auger keep the blade and plate on. Cleans the meat out.

Yep, I'll grind with no intended purpose. Inspiration will usually strike while cleaning up.
Does the ice pack help keep the head chilled? 5# only takes maybe 10 minutes anyway?

Yup . I have 5 lbs. unseasoned pork in the freezer now . 2 different bags . Also a salt , pepper and sage mix is a good base for brats or Italian .
