We finally have some nice weather here and I'm ready for up the ole smoker..... I need some inspiration.

In suggestions? I did a butt not to long ago so I'm looking to do something different.
How about a nice meatloaf? Mix up some ground beef & pork sausage , chopped onion n peppers , mix in some bbq sauce make a nice loaf and drape it with bacon. Smoke it to 165 and there you go. Throw some taters on the grate and don't forget a green veg to make it healthy !

Lean meatloaf is one of my 3 favorite go to smokes, along with 1" NY strip steaks with a little SPOG and bone-in chicken breasts. As long as they're smoked low and slow they never seem to fail me. is reader supported and as an Amazon Associate, we may earn commissions from qualifying purchases.
