Hello AND family. My name is Micheal and I live in Yanceyville,N.C. I am new to smoking and want to start a BBQ'D venture here since there is none around here. Isn't that crazy? All the ideas and help I can get would be very helpful. Thank all of you.

There is actually Briggs BBQ on Main St. in Yanceyville and a couple more places in nearby Danville if you want the restaurant experience.

We like to do it ourselves around here!  You have come to the right place to learn all there is to know about making good Que.

What type of equipment do you have and what are your main cooking interests?

When you smoke up some butts or ribs don't forget the Q-view!

Thanks Bill. I know about Briggs and their hours of operation that's why I wanted to do the BBQ'D? If I can do longer hours I think I might stumble on to something great! I was the KM. at Steaks on The Square before they moved to Danville. I have been in the foodservice buissness all my life but never snows before. I would appreciate any more advice from you anytime, thanks.
 
Oh, Bill I have order a gas smoker to start out with so I can learn about how much smoke and temeratures for smoking. I'll listen to the ecourse like I am listening to my Bible! All the help you can give would be great.. I will smoke some ribs and butts first and will post pics. Again, thanks.
