Looking for help identifying an old Brinkmann smoker I came across on marketplace. Seller says his dad won it at Memphis in May over 20 years ago and barely used it. I cannot find anything from them that looks like this and figured I’d turn to the experts. Thanks in advance.

It looks like an old Brinkman Pitmaster. I remember the fire boxes being on the right though and never seen one with the counter weights like that on a factory Brinkman. It’s possible someone added them. Looks like a nice solid smoker though. Should turn out some great meat.

That one is like 3 models up from mine that I bought 20-25 years ago. Mine has no firebox or chimney...just a big grill that I use as a smoker by building the fire on one side and the meat on the other.

Mine has no name that I can recall - BUT - The next model up from mine is a Pitmaster and I think the next one up with the bigger offset firebox and chimney was the Pitmaster Deluxe. The one in your photo I never saw in stores but it is bigger than the deluxe. Trailmaster maybe?

Mine is made of boilerplate and weighs a ton, the Deluxe weighs even more...I can't imagine how much the one in your photo weighs.

FWIW - my grill is pretty tight and holds a temp for a good long while, maybe 3-4 hours. I use it for high heat grilling and shorter high temp smokes like wings, pork steaks or rib-eye steaks.

here are the pic's of my old grill.
