I have heard nothing but great things about the A-MAZE-N line of products.  I think i want one.  But which one should I get.  I currently have a WSM, along with a Weber smokey joe and a kettle.  My thought is that I would use it to smoke cheese, cold smoke salmon and generate smoke on my grills.  All help is appreciated.

I really like the tube that I got. I don't use dust at all, and really never used pellets until this year. I purchased the 18" one because I like to do long cold smokes, and it fits in my GOSM, and the mailbox smoke chamber I have. It won't fit in the mini-wsm I'm currently building but its going to be used for hot smoking and I can throw chunks on the lump. I've had so far flawless TBS from the tube with temps up to 275 in the GOSM.

I don't think I've heard of anyone using it in a WSM for hot smoking, it would work fine for cold smoking. I would give Todd a call and get his opinion. http://www.amazenproducts.com/aboutus.asp

I hope Todd Johnson will jump in here soon!

I'm gonna be curious to see if he recommends one of his generators for a Weber kettle or Smokey Joe. I tried to use my AMNPS in the mini-WSM I made and couldn't keep the pellets lit. I think the charcoal starved them for oxygen. I'm thinking of building a mailbox unit to put the AMNPS in and putting pipe nipples in the walls of my kettle and smokey joe.

The AMNPS is great for the MES40. I've cold smoked cheese and hot smoked turkeys, chooks, butts, ribs, loins . . . it works like a champ and there is no one better to do business with than Todd. He will take care of you.

Jason, Todd is online but I bet he hasn't seen this thread. Try to edit the thread and add AMNPS to the title and he will read it for sure!

For "Cold Smoking", the 6x6, 6x8 or AMNPS will work great in any of your grills or smokers.

The 6x6 and 6x8 are designed to burn sawdust, and perform well, up to 180° or so

The AMNPS 5x8 burns sawdust or pellets

Your WSM is a "Smokin Machine" for hot smoking
