Well it’s Labor Day weekend for everyone but for me this year it’s the weekend before the 2018 Fowlerville Fattie Contest and that means I’m busy.

Have to get the barn in order to host the crowd. Not to much time for anything fancy round here.

Looks like the meat drawer in the fridge has some garlic bologna....

Bologna in the pan and seasoned up!

White bread toasted with some mayo & fresh Tomatoes from the garden.

Taking on some color.

Some melted cheese on top.

Ready to eat!

Served with some chips & homemade dill pickles! And Hooper the Wonder Dog!

Simple but tasty lunch! Reminds me of being a kid!

To quote the great Alan Jackson, I still like bologna on white bread now & then & the the sound of a shovel head down a gravel road.

Well she ain’t a shovel head but she’s a harley! Haven’t had her out much but had her out this week! She’ll have to do for the purpose of this post!

The contest is always fun. I’m sure I’ll have some pics to post. Trying to calm it down a bit this year. Had well over 100 people attend last year and 32 entrees. Got pretty crazy!
