on curing my Brinkmann vertical smoker, I read the directions but was wondering if there are any tips or tricks. also I have read that the thermometer will need to be replaced. any advice on which on to get? Thanks

A can of Pam is the best method for coating the inside of the smoker well, especially all the hard to reach nooks and crannies. Make sure your top vents are 100% open, you do not want to create creasote during the seasoning, it would make your future smokes taste bad.
